On 15 and 16 November, Bali (Indonesia) hosted a regular G20 summit of heads of State and government that adopted, among other things, the High-Level Principles on Enhancing the Role of Auditing in Tackling Corruption.

Russia has adopted an act introducing the conflict-of-interest notion in sport and recognising the failure to prevent it as an offence.

The section containing publications has been updated, new publications on anti-corruption in procurement have been added, and a database of OECD documents has been released on the portal.

Research on systematization of laws, anti-corruption regulation of corporate activities, corruption in sport and procurement, forfeiture of property of third parties and fiduciary management, creation of the first online courses in the Russian language for the International Anti-Corruption Academy, development of the Anti-Corruption Portal and digital databases of case law are the key outcomes of the activities of the Anti-Corruption Centre of the Higher School of Economics University in 2021.

On the International Anti-Corruption Day, UNODC released the findings of an important project focused on the analysis of corrupt practices in sport and providing advice on how to counter them.

The Anti-Corruption Centre of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” has created a database of UN anti-corruption documents and publications.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Partnership against Corruption in Sport (IPACS) have released reports on countering corrupt practices in sport.

On 30 and 31 October Rome (Italy) saw a regular G20 summit that defined, among other things, the priority areas of anti-corruption work from 2022 to 2024 and adopted a number of guiding principles concerning the fight against corruption in specific spheres.

In the midst of the big FIFA bribery scandals we propose an overview of how the global campaign against corruption in sport is conducted at the national and international levels.
