The findings of the investigation revealed numerous cases of the company providing politicians, high-ranking officials (12 current and former heads of state were mentioned in the documents) and other wealthy people with services to create shell and anonymous offshore companies used for illegal purposes, including money laundering, fraud, tax evasion and circumvention of international sanctions.
